Iris is a sophomore at Vernon Hills High-school. She is in VHHS bands/Symphony Orchestra and the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras. She is involved in school clubs including FCA and FLAG. She believes that every refugee has the ability and chance to learn, and she is eager to help these students reach their goals. She is grateful she has the chance to partake in this opportunity. Iris enjoys spending time with young students and playing with them every Saturday.
